Recipe: Coconut Ginger Curry Clams

Can't decide what to make for dinner? Why not try our Coconut Ginger Curry Clams!

This curry is so good to have for dinner when paired with rice or even noodles.⁠ Nothing like curry to keep you warm on a cold winter day. Check out the recipe below!⁠

Ingredients⁠

2 tablespoons olive oil⁠
2 cloves fresh garlic, grated⁠
1 teaspoon NRGY Honey Ginger Detox Bland⁠
3 teaspoons red curry paste⁠
1 teaspoon fish sauce⁠
1/2 teaspoon of brown sugar⁠
1 cup chicken broth or 1 cup of hot water mixed with 1 teaspoon of HonDashi (Bonito Fish Soup Stock)⁠
1 cup coconut milk⁠
2 pounds of Manilla clams, rinsed and cleaned⁠
1 small lime cut into wedges⁠

Coconut Ginger Curry Clams⁠ Recipe:

1. Heat the olive oil in a medium pot over medium heat.⁠
2. Add the garlic and ginger. Cook for 2-3 minutes until garlic is fragrant but not burned.⁠
3. Add the red curry paste, NRGY Honey Ginger and the fish sauce.⁠
4. Stir the paste until it has thinned out with the oil.⁠
5. Pour the chicken broth and coconut milk into the pot. Stir the broth mixture for a couple of seconds until well mixed.⁠
6. Add the clams and cooked covered for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until clams have opened. Discard any clams that are still closed.⁠
7. Simmer for 3 minutes if you want the broth to be a little bit thicker.⁠
8. Transfer the clams and broth to a large serving bowl and squeeze a tablespoon of fresh lime juice over the dish.⁠
9. Serve additional lime wedges on the side. Enjoy!⁠

NRGY Honey Golden Milk Recipe:⁠⁠


Direction:⁠
  • Warm the almond milk (not boiling hot) so that it's enough to dissolve the honey.⁠
  • Mix NRGY Honey Turmeric and Ginger into the warm almond milk and stir until the honey is dissolved.⁠
  • Sprinkle cinnamon powder on top to garnish, or use a cinnamon stick (optional).⁠
  • Enjoy!

If there's anything we like about making our own matcha latte at home is that we know what goes in it. We've created an easy matcha latte recipe that you can make at home using our NRGY Honey Matcha Energy Booster.

Ingredients⁠

1 cup unsweetened oat milk (if you can, get one that has a thicker consistency)⁠
1 tablespoon NRGY Honey Matcha Energy Booster

NRGY Honey Matcha Latte Recipe

1. Steep your oat milk in a saucepan over medium heat and bring it to a simmer. You don't want it to be boiling hot.⁠
2. Put NRGY Honey Matcha in and stir until it completely dissolves.⁠
3. Pour into a cup and leave at least 1/4 cup to froth.⁠
4. Froth the remaining liquid and once it's done, pour everything into the same cup.⁠
5. Enjoy!⁠ ⁠

As the weather is starting to get cold, one of our favourite things to make at home is soup. Today, we would like to share with you our Turmeric-Ginger Potato soup.⁠ ⁠ This soup is not only delicious and hearty but also full of nutrients. It's very comforting and filling too.⁠ ⁠

Cozy Turmeric-Ginger Potato Soup 🥔⁠ ⁠

Feels like winter is here in So Cal. I was feeling so cold all day and I knew I had to have some cozy soup to warm me up.

This recipe is easy and you can put it on the table in less than an hour.

Turmeric-Ginger Potato Soup⁠ Ingredients:⁠

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or any other vegetable oil⁠
  • 1⁄2 chopped onion ⁠
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped⁠
  • 1 tsp NRGY Honey Turmeric Metabolism Kickstart
  • 1⁄2 tsp NRGY Honey Ginger⁠ Detox Blend
  • 1 tsp HonDashi mix with 1 cup of hot water (can be substituted with chicken/vegetable stock)⁠
  • 1 cup peeled and cubed potatoes ⁠
  • 1⁄4 cup light coconut milk or milk⁠
  • 1 tsp soy sauce⁠ ⁠

Garnish:⁠

  • Dehydrated chive rings⁠
  • Deep-fried shallots⁠
  • Roasted sesame seeds⁠ ⁠

Method:⁠

1. In a soup pot, heat oil over medium-low heat. Add onions and cook for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add garlic. Sauté for a few min.⁠

2. Add potatoes. Sauté for a few min. Add the veggie stock. Cook for 15 minutes or until vegetables are very soft.⁠

3. Puree the ingredients in a blender or puree the whole amount directly in the pot with an immersion blender. Add the milk and let it simmer for 5 min.⁠

4. Check if you like the consistency of the soup. Add more stock or water if desired and adjust the seasonings.⁠

5. Garnish with dehydrated chive rings, roasted sesame seeds and deep-fried shallots.
